Appling Healthcare Update

Appling Nursing and Rehabilitation Pavilion reports no additional cases of COVID-19 among residents and no additional COVID-19 related deaths.

Among employees, the nursing home reports no additional cases of COVID-19 with no test results pending.   

Additionally, Appling Healthcare reports no additional cases of COVID-19 among hospital employees. Test results are pending on two additional hospital employees. 

Due to outdoor visits being suspended, families are encouraged to continue visiting their loved ones and communicating with them from outside of their windows. As a reminder, the windows must remain closed during the visit. Families are advised to be cautious during the window visits as the ground may be wet and slippery from recent rainfall.

Another option is to send an email to covid19@appling-hospital.org. Your email will automatically go to all of the nursing home administration team as well as hospital staff, so you should receive a response fairly soon.
