Starting Monday May, 11, 2020, Appling Healthcare’s Primary Care offices are reopening to patients by appointment only. Walk-ins will not be accepted at this time.
To minimize the risk of exposure and help protect both patients and staff, the following measures will be in place:
- Sick patient visits and well patient visits will be scheduled for separate times of day.
- Upon arriving at the office, patients must call the staff before entering so they may be screened before their visit.
- Only one parent or guardian is allowed to accompany patients who are minors. Otherwise, patients should arrive unaccompanied.
- All patients must wear masks for the entirety of their appointments. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
In addition, providers will continue to deliver remote care through phone or video chat. These virtual appointments are not just for COVID-19 patients, but also for medication refills and other sick visits.
