Appling Healthcare Gives Weekly COVID-19 Update

06/01/2020

Appling Healthcare reports no additional cases of COVID-19 among residents at Appling Nursing and Rehabilitation Pavilion. The hospital system also reports no additional COVID-19 related deaths.

All residents who were previously admitted into the hospital for COVID-19 have been able to return to the Pavilion nursing home.

Appling Healthcare and the Pavilion nursing home also report no additional cases among employees, and no employee cases are pending.

Nursing home residents and employees who previously tested negative for COVID-19 are continue to be tested on a weekly basis. As previously stated, decisions about testing for COVID-19 in outbreak settings are made in consultation with the Georgia Department of Public Health. Appling Healthcare continues to work closely with public health officials, communicating with the DPH on a daily basis.

Another option is to send an email to covid19@appling-hospital.org. Your email will automatically go to all of the nursing home administration team as well as hospital staff, so you should receive a response fairly soon.
