Appling Healthcare Weekly COVID-19 Update


Appling Healthcare reports no additional cases of COVID-19 among residents at the Appling Nursing and Rehabilitation Pavilion. Nursing home residents will continue to be tested on a weekly basis or upon onset of symptoms, until further notice.

The nursing home reports six cases of COVID-19 among employees and no test results are pending on additional nursing home employees.

Additionally, Appling Healthcare reports seven cases of COVID-19 among hospital employees. no test results are pending on hospital employees.

Appling Healthcare is handling many critical patients due to the COVID-19 surge and reminds the community that the Emergency Department is not a COVID-19 testing site. If you need a COVID-19 test and not experiencing a medical emergency, please call your local health department or healthcare provider. If you are COVID-19 positive and not experiencing a medical emergency, hospital administration asks you to seek advice from your primary care provider or your local health department.
