Appling Healthcare welcomes Joseph Foust, MD. Dr. Foust is a board-certified, Mayo Clinic-trained physician and a Fellow of the American Board of Family Physicians. Recently, Dr. Foust and Mandi Wright, Family Nurse Practitioner, joined Appling Healthcare’s Vidalia Clinic, where they collaborate and expertly manage patients daily.
Treating patients 2 years old and up, Dr. Foust has over 20 years of experience with common family practice issues. His primary care services include acute upper respiratory illness, musculoskeletal injuries, chronic disease management, vitamin insufficiencies, depression and anxiety, school physicals, and thyroid issues.
For over 15 years, Dr. Foust’s passion has been treating patients with diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. This passion has lead him to teach and educate his colleagues across the country.
Dr. Foust has also developed multiple weight-loss clinics by tailoring the treatments to the individual patient’s needs and he also has many years of experience compounding bio-identical hormones.
Dr. Foust earned his medical degree at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, W.Va., and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jasonville, Fla.
